The Bus Shelter Renewal Program incorporated various improvements such as the installation of new concrete hardstands footpath ramps kerb and channel upgrades tactile ground surface indicators and solar-powered lighting at seven of the bus stop sites. These enhancements were specifically designed to meet the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requirements and the Department of Transport & Planning Standards for Bus Stops ensuring universal accessibility.
