When he’s not out in nature, you might spot him walking his miniature dachshund, giving pickleball a try, or firing up a chainsaw as part of his volunteering.
As your Murradoc Ward Councillor, Rowan is proud to raise the profile of local agriculture and make sure Geelong gets the credit it deserves – he likes to call it 'the southern capital' of Victoria.

Why did you run for council?
There was only one candidate in my ward, Murradoc, and democracy always does better with a contest
What achievement in your term or career as a councillor are you most proud of so far?
Raising the importance of agriculture as an important contributor to the City of Greater Geelong
If there is one thing you could change about Geelong, what would you change?
Remove the idea of the “second largest city in Victoria” – Geelong is in fact the southern capital
What’s something about you that people might not know?
I am a qualified chainsaw operator
