Have Your Say on Stormwater Management in Geelong

Tuesday, 20th May 2025
We’re inviting the community to view and provide feedback on stage two of the Central Geelong Stormwater Management Strategy and stage one of the Highton Stormwater Management Strategy.

These strategies aim to better understand stormwater behaviour and find practical ways to reduce flooding impacts.

Central Geelong – stage two

Stage two of the Central Geelong Stormwater Management Strategy includes a draft map that shows where flooding could occur.

View the map, read the fact sheets, and share your feedback at yoursay.geelongaustralia.com.au/CGSMS-1

Join us at a Central Geelong community info session at Wurriki Nyal:

  • Friday 23 May – 5:30 pm
  • Monday 26 May – 6:00 pm
  • Thursday 29 May – 10:00 am

Each session includes a short presentation and a Q&A.

Highton – stage one

If you're a Highton, Belmont, Wandana Heights, and Ceres resident in the Highton catchment, we want to understand where flooding has impacted you.

Make sure your experiences are recorded by completing the survey at yoursay.geelongaustralia.com.au/highton-stormwater-management-strategy

Consultation for both engagements close Friday 13 June – don’t miss your chance to help shape a more resilient Geelong!
