Join the next Neighbourhood Conversations in Drysdale

Friday, 21st August 2026

Community members will have the opportunity to chat directly to Councillors and City officers at the next Neighbourhood Conversations at SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre.

Neighbourhood Conversations

From 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Wednesday 26 August, residents are invited to share their thoughts on local projects, priorities and ideas that matter most to their community.

Councillors will be calling in to chat and connect, and the City’s Customer Service team will be available to help with any questions, requests or matters to report.

This will be the City’s fourth Neighbourhood Conversation for the year, with each event providing communities across Greater Geelong with the chance to discuss priorities and give feedback on projects open for community consultation.

These events are aligned with the City’s recently adopted Community Engagement Policy, which highlights the importance of engaging with the community in-person and in places where they normally spend time, making it simple and easy for people to share their views.

Greater Geelong Mayor Stretch Kontelj OAM

Meaningful engagement starts with making it easy for people to participate.

By taking these important conversations into neighbourhoods across Greater Geelong, we’re creating accessible opportunities for residents to share their perspectives and help shape our priorities.

Murradoc Ward Councillor Rowan Story AM, RFD

Community feedback plays an important role in helping us understand what is working well and where improvements can be made.

I encourage residents to drop by, have a chat with us and share their thoughts on the issues that matter most to them.
