Join the next Neighbourhood Conversations in Ocean Grove

Friday, 17th April 2026

The community is invited to the next Neighbourhood Conversations event at Ocean Grove Neighbourhood House on Tuesday 5 May, 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Three people standing indoors behind a freestanding sign that reads ‘Neighbourhood Conversations – We’re popping up in your neighbourhood’. Each person is holding an information flyer. Bookshelves and seating are visible in the background, indicating a public library or community space.

Councillors will be calling in to chat and connect on local projects, priorities and what matters to you.

It’s a chance to have your say on current community engagements and talk to the City’s Customer Service team for help with questions, requests, or matters to report.

Neighbourhood Conversations are bi-monthly visits to communities across Greater Geelong, giving residents the chance to discuss what matters most in their area and provide feedback on projects open for community consultation.

Greater Geelong Mayor Stretch Kontelj OAM

We need these opportunities for in-person conversations to chat about the things that matter to our community.

Greater Geelong is growing and our community have innovative ideas for how we can make our region an even better place to live and work.

Connewarre Ward Councillor Elise Wilkinson

We need to hear directly from the people who live and work here — their ideas, their challenges and their aspirations.

When everyone has a voice, we can deliver outcomes that truly strengthen our region.
