The Potato Shed will host Late Late at Night a captivating pop-rock stage adaptation of Rick Springfield’s autobiography 2pm Sunday 3 March.

Late Late at Night traces Springfield’s childhood in Australia and Britain his early music career and the rollercoaster ride of success and challenges he faced in 1970’s America.

You are invited to embark on an unforgettable journey through Springfield's life from his humble beginnings in Australia to his meteoric rise to fame and the personal struggles that accompanied it.

From his massive pop hits to his ventures in acting during the 1980’s the production chronicles the highs and lows of Springfield's life and career.

The narrative delves into Springfield's fall from public view and his subsequent battle with mental health issues offering a poignant exploration of the toll that fame and fortune can take.

Late Late at Night also celebrates Springfield's resilience and the triumph of his artistic resurgence in the 21st century.

Written by award-winning Australian playwright Kieran Carroll and starring rising Sydney performer Jackson Carroll (no relation) the show features over 20 fantastic Springfield gems from his time in band Zoot to the present day and includes many of Springfield’s 17 Top 40 American hits from the 1980’s.
