Despite assurances from her own Department, the Hon Sonya Kilkenny has failed to make a decision on the Creamery Road Precinct Structure Plan. 

Instead, she has chosen to ignore her Department’s advice and that of the Independent Standing Advisory Committee’s report and has pushed back further work on Council to undertake. 

The Minister’s inability to make a decision on Creamery Road will delay housing delivery and increase costs to build new houses in Geelong even further.
