The program for the City’s annual mid-winter festival is now live and packed with experiences that showcase what makes Greater Geelong one of the country’s most renowned food, beverage and hospitality destinations.

With more than 70 events and offers to choose from, the festival lineup includes intimate degustation collaborations, behind-the-scenes venue tours, workshops and masterclasses, special lunch and dinner menus, and kid-friendly activities.

The Tastes of Greater Geelong 2026 program runs from Friday 19 June to Sunday 19 July.

No matter where you live, there are plenty of events to explore, spanning from Portarlington and Ocean Grove through to the Geelong CBD and Waterfront.

The mouth-watering festival will kick off with a bustling night market in collaboration with the Geelong City Market on Friday 19 June.

The Geelong City Night Market will transform Little Malop Street into a hawker-style market experience filled with local eats, music and roving entertainment to launch the month-long celebration of Geelong’s food scene.

It might be winter, but the market is sure to make you feel toasty with warming drinks, marshmallow roasting and indulgent flavours.

Now in its 15th year, Tastes is all about uplifting and promoting the City’s hospitality community and encouraging locals and visitors to get out and explore these destinations during the cooler months.

The 2026 program has been designed to support local businesses by introducing new customers to their unique food, drink and experience-based offerings.
