The Greater Geelong Council has committed $165,000 over the next three years to support The Outpost, providing funding certainty for a vital local service supporting people experiencing hardship, homelessness and social isolation. 

Local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to level up and learn from some of the best minds in the industry at this year’s Geelong Small Business Festival. 

The City of Greater Geelong’s reputation as a premier destination for world‑class events is set to grow even further, with two respected industry leaders appointed and one experienced member reappointed to the Geelong Major Events Committee (GME).

Innovative efforts by City staff to fast-track water safety for swim students and make healthy food more affordable and accessible at local centres have earned recognition on the state-wide stage.
