A secondary consent application is a formal request to make minor changes to already approved planning permit plans or documents. It applies only when your permit contains a specific condition allowing changes with written approval, and the updates do not alter the main use, transform the proposal, or change permit conditions.

As Secondary Consents are minor in nature there is no requirement to put up notices at your site. If the application is not minor in nature a Section 72 Amended Permit will need to be applied for.

When you apply for a Secondary Consent you will need to:

1. Download the secondary consent application form (below)
2. Complete all relevant sections including:
   1. Your name as the applicant
   2. All contact details
   3. Address details of the property concerned
   4. Your Planning Permit number
   5. The ownership details of the property (or tick the box if you are the owner)
   6. Your current development stage
3. Check the relevant fee required - Planning fees

Return your completed form and all required documentation to [email protected]. Once received, we will issue an invoice for the applicable application fee.
