Design Note 4 describes the City of Greater Geelong's preferred vehicle crossing layout.
Vehicle Crossings Preferred Layout
Consultants and contractors are advised that the City of Greater Geelong has adopted a preferred vehicle crossing layout shown in the sketch below.
Single vehicle crossings are preferred. Where crossings are located on either side of a property boundary two separate Single Crossings are preferred. The layout is to be as shown as 'Adjacent Vehicle Crossings'.
This advice is to be read in conjunction with the current version of the Infrastructure Design Manual. See standard drawings 205 to 265 for construction details.
