Planning Permit Checklist - Car Park Waiver

Please use this checklist when submitting a planning application which requires a waiver of car parking.

For all planning applications, you must provide:

1.An application form fully completed and signed.
 In addition to the above, the following must also be provided:
2.A recent copy of Title for the land (the search should be dated not more than 60 days prior to the application), including a copy of the diagram or relevant plan of subdivision and a copy of any restriction or covenant that may affect the land. (A Certificate of Title may be obtained online Victorian Land Titles Office or by visiting the Land Information Centre located on the level 10, 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne)
3.The application fee (if applicable)
4.Using Table 1 at Clause 52.06, calculate the number of spaces required for the use and state the number to be provided and where they will be provided.
5.Application requirements at Clause 52.06-6, include the following (as appropriate):
 •  A Car Parking Demand Assessment
 •  If reducing the number of spaces below the likely demand assessed in the Car Parking Demand Assessment, a response to other Council considerations listed at Clause 52.06-6
6.A Car Parking Plan as detailed including the following (as appropriate):
 •  Car parking spaces (dimensioned), access lanes, driveways and associated works
 •  Allocation of spaces
 •  Any landscaping, water sensitive urban design treatment, finished levels
7.Response to design standards (the Car Parking Plan must meet the design standards).
8.A written response against decision guidelines.
