Apply for a Food or Health Refund

You can apply for a refund for a food, health, or septic, also known as an On-site Wastewater Management System (OWMS), application or registration.

You may be entitled to a partial refund of the current year's registration fee if:

  • your food business is sold
  • your food or health business closes early in the year
  • your food health or septic (OWMS) application did not proceed or
  • you paid the registration and have not traded and changed your mind about starting a business.

The processing of your refund can take up to six weeks.
