It builds on the goals established by our Environment Strategy 2020-2030 and details how the City will support coordinated and collective action to achieve net zero community emissions by 2035 and increase the resilience of our region to the impacts of climate change. 

The development of this plan was informed by extensive consultation with community groups businesses government agencies and non-government organisations.

Addressing the risks and impacts of a changing climate requires a whole of community approach and this holistic plan shows how we can rapidly reduce emissions and impacts of climate change in our region. We've established the Our Climate Actions interactive dashboard as a hub of valuable information for you to explore, showcasing the various climate actions that we, and community, have and are implementing across Greater Geelong.
