Young Parents Connect (YPC) is a social and community development space for parents and expecting parents aged 18 to 25, who live, work, study, or play in the Geelong region.
YPC offers a welcoming and inclusive environment to help you connect with other young parents, and to provide a space to share experiences, learn, and strengthen your ties with the community.
Target group
- Young parents aged 18 to 25 who have a child/ren under the age of 5
- Expecting parents aged 18 to 25
Participants are encouraged to bring their children to sessions or are welcome to come alone. Young parents will be encouraged to contribute and help shape what YPC looks like ongoing.
Session details
5-week program in term 2, 2026.
Session topics include:
- Creative connections
- Self-care and wellness
- Food literacy
- Baby First Aid
- UpskillED – Employment readiness support
When: Starting in May 2026
Time: TBC
Location: The Nest Youth Hub (17 Gheringhap Street, Geelong)
