Grants to support organisations to establish ‘proof of concept’ for circular technologies and clean economy solutions that benefit the Geelong community.

Applications open: 27 June 2026
Applications close: 10 August 2026 by 5.00 pm (we do not accept late applications)
Notification to applicants: 9 December 2026

Grant guidelines

To confirm the eligibility of your organisation and activity, please read the grant guidelines before applying. 

Who can apply?

To apply for this grant, the entity must be:

  • based in Greater Geelong 
  • intend to work with suppliers located in Greater Geelong to deliver the project

 and one of the following:

  • incorporated not-for-profit organisation
  • registered charitable organisation
  • higher education institution
  • business
  • individual operating as a sole trader (with an active ABN).

What can you apply for?

Project costs that demonstrate clean technology and circular economy solutions, for example: prototyping, market research, material testing.

How much can you apply for?

There is a total grant pool of $50,000 available.

Applicants may ask for up to $25,000

  • Answer the questions in the application form.
  • Don't forget to hit the submit button. 

We recommend saving your progress every 10–15 minutes. If your computer is inactive for 20 minutes, your session will time out.
