Family violence - support for multicultural communities

If you are fearful or feel unsafe; or know someone who maybe experiencing family violence, call 000.

Victoria Police has launched a suite of videos in multiple languages to encourage people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities to seek help if they are experiencing family violence. The videos are available in English and 12 other languages.

If you are from a multicultural background, help is available to you. Various services and resources are available to all members of our community, including:

InTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence	1800 755 988	9:00am to 5:00pm (not a crisis or emergency response service). Free and confidential support services to migrant and refugee women living in Victoria, who are experiencing or have experienced family violence.
Translating and Interpreting Services	131 450	Assistance for non-English speakers.
The Orange Door	1800 312 820	9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays) Available to people of any age, gender, sexuality, culture and ability are welcome.
