These works form part of Council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving local infrastructure. The existing road surface has deteriorated over time due to age, weather conditions and the current width of the road can no longer accommodate rising traffic volumes.

Residents and businesses who may be impacted by the works will be notified of the start date closer to commencement.
Works will occur Monday to Friday from 7:00am until 4:00pm. Weekend work will only be required if weekdays are lost to inclement weather or unforeseeable circumstances
For the safety of drivers and our staff, the road will be closed during work hours. Residents in this section of road will have full access to their properties. We will endeavour to minimise the disruption while the works are being undertaken.
Emergency Services will have access at all times.
We ask that you follow the detour signs whilst the road is closed.
Your rubbish collection will not be impacted. Please place your bin out as usual and if required staff will move your bin for collection. We’ll return your bin once it is emptied so please ensure your property number is on your bin to avoid confusion.
Thank you for your patience while we undertake these essential works.
