Young people to take centre stage at free Youth Festa-Fair

Hosted by the 2026 Youth Council as part of Youth Fest, with support by the Victorian Government through the Youth Fest Grant Program, our free and indoor fair is organised by young people, for young people.
Youth Festa-Fair will be an inclusive and welcoming space to make new friends, hang out and celebrate young people’s talents.
Saxophonist Jacob Evans, indie pop/folk singer Kitty Beach and acoustic artist Klover Clements are set to captivate attendees with their diverse perspectives and sounds. These local emerging musicians are all aged between 12 to 25 years old.
We’re spotlighting youth-led businesses and makers, with handmade jewellery and art prints from Moonlit Moths Co, bucket hats made by Ita Vero, Lyra’s handmade cards, journals and dried floral arrangements and jewellery from Quirk Earrings. Expect handmade crochet and paintings from Crochet by Elsie and Elizabeth Stuchbury Art, water bottles, badges and keyrings from Casting Dreams, live sketching from Addie’s Artts and Geelong Doodlebooth and 3D printed items from Atticus Green.
There will also be plenty of free, interactive activities designed to make it easier for young people to have fun, connect and get involved. Attendees can take on quick Minute-To-Win-It challenges, snap photos at a themed photo corner, work together on a large collaborative puzzle and contribute to a community mural and ideas wall. Interest stickers and a ‘Find Someone Who’ activity will help young people connect with others who share similar interests, while conversation card tables will offer an easy, low-pressure way to start a chat. Regular raffle prize draws will run throughout the day and a dedicated quiet zone will be available for anyone wanting some time to relax and recharge.
Youth Festa-Fair will be held at Geelong West Town Hall from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday 29 September. Find out more at geelong.link/Youth-Festa-Fair

Youth Festa-Fair is a great opportunity for young people to come together and celebrate the talent of their peers.
We hope young people can come along, have fun, discover something new and leave feeling a little more connected to other young people in their community.
Youth Fest is Victoria's largest celebration of young people, recognising and showcasing the contributions, achievements and talents of young people across the state.
