Enterprise Agreement Update (13 April 2021)

The 2021 Enterprise agreement (EA) bargaining period has commenced. If you're covered by the City of Greater Geelong Enterprise Agreement (No. 10) 2020 you should have received your notice of Representational Rights in the mail. If you didn't receive yours email [email protected]

Representatives of the City will now begin regularly meeting with the three unions who are a party to the Agreement as well as with any other nominated bargaining representatives to begin working on a replacement Agreement.

In the coming weeks the bargaining representatives will share their logs of claim (list of desired agreement improvements) with each other and these documents will form the basis of the discussions.

If you have feedback on the current agreement reach out to your bargaining representative or people leader for further action.

Bargaining will continue until an 'in principle' agreement is reached. The City will share the draft document for viewing by all employees and then conduct an official voting process.

The current Enterprise Agreement will remain in place until such time as a new Agreement is ratified by the Fair Work Commission.

If you have any questions about the bargaining process or wish to provide any ideas or feedback please reach out to the Policy and Workplace Relations team by email at [email protected]
