PASAP - Evaluation Framework: Telling the story

The following evaluation framework brings together the themes and priorities of the Positive Ageing Strategy 2021-2047 with the actions of the 2022-2025 Action Plan to tell the story of how we are contributing to change.

Each action will be reported on annually to measure progress against the following guide:

  • Short term: 1-2 years
  • Medium term: 2-3 years
  • Long term: 3+ years
Case studies
Selected actions will be analysed for:

  • how well the actions work towards the priorities of the strategy
  • how well the guiding principles of the strategy have been considered in implementation
Population level indicators (for example: Geelong Preventative Health Survey)
Baseline data will be collected where available
New survey questions will be developed where required
Data will be revisited in 2025, and at regular intervals for the life of the strategy
