Implementation

Within the City

We will establish an Implementation Working Group to monitor the progress of actions and provide a forum to discuss age-friendly principles. This group will consist of representatives from key City departments.

External partners

We will engage key partner organisations including:

  • Geelong Regional Libraries Corporation (GRLC)
  • Neighbourhood Houses Barwon
  • Wadawurrung Aboriginal Traditional Owners Corporation
  • Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative
  • Cultura
  • Barwon Community Legal Service
  • Barwon Health and
  • Western Victoria Primary Health Network.

Monitoring

Annual Progress Reports

We will develop annual progress reports, and the Year One Report (October 2022 to October 2023) is now available.
