Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre is a waste and recycling drop-off service that accepts and recycles a range of items not collected in household bin recycling.

Fees and service information
Tipper trailers 2.7 metres or longer must be unloaded by hand or driven directly to tip face.

Please note:
- All fees are GST inclusive.
- Where variations in load type occur, a charge of $110 per cubic metre will apply.
- Tipper trailers over 2.7 metres in length must be unloaded by hand or driven directly to the landfill tip face to tip off. Weighbridge fees apply.
Asbestos
Drysdale Landfill accepts small domestic quantities (no larger than six by four trailer) of asbestos. No asbestos will be accepted without a prior booking. Find out more.

For the safety of staff and customers, all commercial customers entering the landfill section of the site are required to have UHF radios tuned to channel 31.
Items eligible for free drop-off
Excess household recycling
Small quantities of sorted recyclable material (up to 0.5 cubic metre) are accepted for free:
- aluminium cans
- cardboard (emptied, flattened, no plastic or styrofoam)
- fire extinguishers (up to two accepted free, see fee list for larger quantities)
- glass bottles and jars (no lids)
- metal cans
- paper
- plastic containers – rigid (labelled 1,2, and 5).
Other items accepted for free
We accept domestic quantities of the following items for free:
- car batteries (battery terminals must be covered with tape or plastic caps)
- computer items and accessories
- e-waste – small electrical items (see fee list for solar panels)
- fluorescent tubes / compact fluorescent light bulbs
- gas BBQ bottles (up to 9 kilograms)
- hot water services
- household batteries
- machine and motor oil
- cooking oil and container/s – maximum of 30 litres per transaction in maximum of 5-litre containers
- motor oil (limit of 30 litres per transaction). Container not accepted, if unwanted place in your red lid rubbish bin at home
- paint and paint tins – domestic quantities (up to 100 litres per transaction)
- rigid plastic items, such as outdoor furniture
- scrap metal items such as lawn mowers
- small electrical items such as kettles, hair dryers and toasters
- televisions
- tools
- tyre rims (without tyres)
- vapes
- white goods – ovens, dryers, microwaves, washing machines and dishwashers
We do not accept flares, hazardous liquids and chemical waste at either of our resource and recovery centres.
