Erected on April 3rd, 1981, on the Gheringhap Street side of Johnstone Park, the Apex Monument marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Apex Club of Australia.

Originating in Geelong in 1931, Apex grew into a nationwide young men’s service organization. The three-pronged sculpture symbolizes the movement’s foundational pillars of service, fellowship, and citizenship.
