Scott Hamilton and Co. Ironmongers

An example of Federation Freestyle, the upper storey is still substantially intact, with 'three brick piers that define' the two-bayed composition.

Notable features include the 'central projecting bowed windows ... and the crowning wavy double curved parapets' typical of the architects' design features.

The building 'is associated with commercial developments in Geelong in the Federation period c. 1895-1915'.
