Sharing the untold stories of Victorian and/or Geelong Women.
HerStory Geelong

By gender-balancing the knowledge of our local heritage and public spaces, we can shift the dial on gender equality. This trail focuses on honoring notable women at monuments and other significant locations throughout the City.
This trail seeks to explore the intersection of gender, identity, urban space and advocacy. By developing a participatory walking tour that reveals the lack of female representation in the City of Geelong monuments and or artworks.
This trail & work will contribute to the City of Greater Geelong's Gender Equity Framework and the Victorian Government’s - A Victorian Gender Equality Strategy.
