Information about organisations and resources outside City of Greater Geelong, that support local music initiatives.

  • Music Victoria is an independent, not-for-profit, non-government organisation that represents musicians, venues, music businesses and music lovers across the contemporary music community in Victoria. 
  • The Push is a not-for-profit youth music organisation with programs aimed at educating, entertaining, inspiring and empowering young people. 
  • APRA AMCOS  Music Licences and Royalties - We make it easy to legally play or perform music in Australia so songwriters, composers and publishers get paid.
  • Creative Victoria is the state government body dedicated to championing, growing and supporting Victoria's creative industries. We invest in the ideas, talent, organisations, events and projects that make Victoria a creative state.
  • VMDO the Victorian Music Development Office provides support directly to the Victorian music industry’s many businesses.
  • Songlines Music Aboriginal Corporation aim is to provide a platform to advocate as a collective voice for greater recognition of contemporary Aboriginal Music as an important cultural art form.
  • Multicultural Arts Victoria champion culturally diverse artists and communities to create systems of cultural production and participation that uphold equity and self-determination.
  •  Creative Australia is the Australian Government’s principal arts investment, development and advisory body. They champion and invest in arts and creativity to benefit all Australians through an integrated suite of activities e.g. grants, partnerships and advocacy. Within Creative Australia the government announced the establishment of Music Australia – a dedicated new body to support and invest in the Australian contemporary music industry.
