Central Geelong and the Waterfront will be blooming with exciting activities to celebrate the arrival of spring.
In this bumper edition, the Geelong Wonder Children's Festival will take centre stage. Packed with exciting experiences and family-friendly entertainment, Central Geelong and the Waterfront will once again become the ultimate school holiday destination.
Central Geelong will be buzzing with activity during the Big Wonder Weekend (19-20 September). Be sure to check out the amazing shows, performances and activities taking place throughout Central Geelong, particularly along Little Malop Street. With roving performers, a community karaoke event, the creative Geelong Makers Market and a family-friendly Beavs Bar gig, there will be plenty to see and do.
Other free events throughout the school holiday period include hands-on creative workshops at The Dome Library, Platform Arts and The Carousel. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy these school holidays.
For families who enjoy a day out in the gardens, head along to the 175th Anniversary Open Day at the world-famous Geelong Botanic Gardens on Saturday 3 October, enjoy children’s activities and plant sales galore.
