Kindergarten Central Enrolment

Everything you need is in one place

High Five
Launching 2027

Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme (CRES) is a best practice model for local councils and other organisations to support families and carers to secure a kindergarten place for their child.

What does this mean for Geelong families?

The City of Greater Geelong is launching a Centralised Registration Platform to make the Kindergarten enrolment process simpler for Geelong Families. This platform uses the Department of Educations Priority of Access, to allocate children in a fair, consistent and transparent way.

By creating a centralised platform, Geelong families can submit one application for all participating Kindergartens within the Geelong region, instead of contacting individual services.
