Rating strategy

We have developed a comprehensive Revenue and Rating Plan that determines how rates income will be derived and outlines the payment options and assistance measures available.

Rates are a general purpose levy which help fund a wide spectrum of City services.

Rates are calculated based on property valuations in accordance with our Revenue and Rating Plan 2021-2025 and the Local Government Act 1989.
