Our Community Parenting Education sessions are here to support families across Greater Geelong with practical, trusted information at the moments they need.
These free group sessions are designed to build confidence, strengthen family wellbeing, and help parents and carers feel connected and supported.
Community parent/carer education sessions
Adjusting to life with a new baby can feel overwhelming.
This relaxed session supports you to:
- understand normal newborn behaviour
- learn gentle sleep and settling ideas
- look after your own wellbeing
- feel confident in the early months.

Starting solids can feel overwhelming.
In this session we’ll explore:
- when and how to begin solids
- allergens and how to introduce these foods
- building healthy feeding habits
- early play ideas to support development.

Dadfit is a FREE community program to help dads get active, connect with other local dads and share experiences.
What to expect?
- Dad Workouts - Fun, full-body exercise, suitable for all fitness levels
- Dad Chats - Catch up about issues facing dads, including parenting, relationships, health and wellbeing
- Dad Challenges - Dads supporting dads to try out new ideas
- Dad Team - Get to know other dads in your local area
The group will meet for five weeks between 7pm and 9pm.
