We use Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) and s-Methoprene to control mosquito larvae. These products are approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority for mosquito management.
Both products are used widely in Victoria, Australia and internationally to manage mosquito larvae because of their negligible impact on non-target species. These products do not harm people, pets or the general environment.
The products are solid and are dispersed via an agricultural drone, allowing for more directed application and less product usage.
