Register and apply for an online Civil Infrastructure Permit

You can now apply for a Civil Infrastructure Permit online.
 

We have transitioned to an online application process via e-Pathways, improving processing times and convenience. 

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your login details within 2-3 business days. 

Before lodging your first online permit application, you will need to register for an e-pathways account. This process only takes a few minutes and will make future applications quicker and more convenient.

Visit our e-Pathways portal and:

  1. Click ‘Register’ in the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Enter your details. Please note that fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  3. Click ‘Next’ once you have completed all the required fields.


After you submit your registration, our administration team will review and finalise your account. You will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials within 2-3 business days.

Visit our e-Pathways portal and:
Click ‘Sign In’ in the top-right corner of your screen.

  1. Enter your login details.

Once signed in, your user name will appear in the top-right corner of the screen.

Before starting your application, please ensure you have your payment information and the details of the property for which the permit is being requested.
1. Start a New Application

  • Click the ‘Applications’ drop-down in the top-left corner.
  • Select New Application.

2. Choose Your Permit

  • Select the permit you need from the Civil Infrastructure list and click ‘Next’.
  • If the permit you require is not available, please email [email protected] with your username and the permit type you require.

3. Enter Property Details

  • Enter the address of the property the application relates to.
  • Tick the ‘Advanced Search’ box to reveal more fields.
  • Click ‘Search’ to confirm the property.
  • If multiple results appear, select the correct one and click ‘Next’.

4. Complete Application Details

  • Fill in the required information. This may include uploading documents such as photos, site plans, or insurance certificates (depending on the permit type).
  • Once all mandatory fields are complete, click ‘Next’.

5. Review Your Application

  • Check the details carefully. All correspondence will be sent to the email address shown on this screen. Please ensure this email address matches the one used at time of registration.
  • If everything is correct, tick the ‘Accept’ box and click ‘Next’ to proceed to payment.

6. Make Payment

  • Enter your card details (without spaces) in the payment fields.
  • Click ‘Pay’ to finalise your application.
  • Note: If you click ‘Cancel’, your application will not be saved for later.

7. Confirmation

  • After payment, a confirmation screen will appear.
  • A confirmation email with your receipt will be emailed.
